Forward-thinking for community betterment.
Did you know the first Sun City Oro Valley Board of Directors was a hybrid? There were volunteer residents and paid Del Webb employees who sat on the Board together. On July 1, 1995, Del Webb left, and the Board was all SCOV volunteer residents. So, we have been running our own community for almost 30 years.
How can SCOV raise additional revenue for community projects?
There are many revenue sources for SCOV. Annual Homeowner Fees, Comcast & AT&T Contracts, CD & Treasury interest, percentage of merchandise sales (Gift Shop), Activities revenue, Capital Contribution Fees, Views Golf & Restaurant revenue.
Sun City Oro Valley Ambassador Tours
After taking an Ambassador Tour, many Realtors have said they never knew how much Sun City has to offer. With other competing 55+ active adult communities near us, the Ambassador Tour was the determining factor that inspired prospective home buyers who moved to Sun City.
