Thank you for reaching out. 

While I believe in promoting transparency and fiscal accountability in all governance, I believe that as structured, HB2442 would have been too restrictive on homeowners’ associations and their elected boards, and I voted No on the bill when it came to the floor of the House on March 18th.

The last day for the Senate to hear House bills in Committee was 03-27-25. This bill has been held in Committee in the Senate and will not likely be heard in the Committee. The bill will be monitored until the Legislative session is over at the end of April.
