What We Do

Our Mission

The mission of Sun City CREW is to promote a culture of positivity, open communication, and support within our organization. We aim to empower all residents to confront and constructively address conflict, ensuring a healthy community that inspires civility, respect, engagement, and well-being.

Our Standing Committees

  • CounterACT

Engage with the community by attending and contributing your input at the SCOV Association Board meetings and other committee meetings dealing with significant, impactful issues. CounterACT will request CREW members to attend and support the Board and staff in making complex, controversial decisions where appropriate.

  • Social Media

Positively influence SCOV-owned and managed social media platforms. Actively post and share positive content. Report abusive posts that do not adhere to those platforms' current and future rules and regulations. Influence and promote changes to SCOV social media policies to discourage negative comments, threats, and misinformation.

Work closely with Social Media and other committees and community groups to ensure that all dialog and correspondence is fact-based and relevant.

  • My husband and I spent five years traveling around the US looking for the best retirement community for us.  After visiting SCOV we were sold! From the Vistoso Cycling club,  mountain biking trails out our back door,  Glass and Clay clubs as well as an awesome wood shop we could not be happier. Everyone we have met has been so friendly and welcoming.
